Made from sixteen pieces of Moso bamboo, *Infinity* symbolizes harmony and coexistence among cultures. Inspired by designer Amaya’s reflection on indigenous maternal culture, the chair uses natural material to express a deep bond with land and life. The chair’s flowing curves evoke the infinity symbol, suggesting endless possibilities and sustainable growth. More than furniture, the Infinity Bamboo Chair Series A embodies a cultural narrative and a vision where culture, life, and nature exist in balance. Composée de seize pièces de bambou Moso, la Chaise en bambou Infinity – Série A incarne harmonie et coexistence. Inspirée par la réflexion de la designer Amaya sur la culture maternelle autochtone, elle traduit le lien profond entre terre et vie. This work adopts the perspective of “standing on the high ground,” embodying the belief in safeguarding both tribe and land, while reflecting the responsibility of being a cultural bearer.
From this vantage point, one revisits the traces of history while envisioning the future, witnessing the steadfast spirit of protecting the homeland. The flowing bamboo structure and subtle totem-like patterns translate this vision into form—each line recalling memory, each curve resonating as a profound response to the earth.
Adoptant la perspective de “se tenir sur les hauteurs”, cette œuvre exprime la conviction de protéger peuple et terre, et la responsabilité d’être porteur de culture. De ce point de vue, elle relie passé et avenir, révélant l’esprit résolu de la défense du foyer. La structure fluide du bambou et les motifs totémiques transposent cette vision en forme : chaque ligne garde la mémoire, chaque courbe fait écho à la terre.
